Housing & Rackspace
Secure Infrastructure for Your Servers and Systems
Your IT is at the heart of your business. With GRASS-MERKUR’s Rackspace solutions you can operate your own hardware in a highly available, certified data center — from a quarter rack up to a full server cabinet.
Rackspace Instead of a Server Room
What Does Rackspace Mean?
Rackspace - often referred to as rack housing - refers to the hosting of your own servers, storage systems, and network components in a professional, certified data center.
Unlike traditional hosting services, you retain full control over your hardware and configuration, while we handle the complex and costly operation of the data center infrastructure - from power supply and climate control to physical security.
Rackspace is a cost-effective and future-proof alternative to operating your own server room, especially for companies with high standards for data protection, performance, and regulatory compliance - such as those required by NIS2, KRITIS, or DORA.
Instead of investing in the construction, maintenance, and redundancy of a server room themselves, companies can use a professional infrastructure that flexibly scales with their needs - from a single rack to a custom colocation space.
An Overview of Our Services
The Benefits of Rackspace from GRASS-MERKUR
IT outages not only incur costs, but also jeopardize business processes, customer relationships and productivity.
Our Rackspace solutions are based on a high-availability data center infrastructure with multiple layers of redundancy. Redundant power paths, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), emergency generators and state-of-the-art air-conditioning systems ensure that your systems can operate reliably even under demanding conditions.
This enables you to create a stable foundation for applications such as ERP systems, databases, production control, virtualization and business applications.
