We're looking for you as a Senior Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

Are you comfortable working in complex cloud and infrastructure environments and ensuring that our systems run stably, securely, and efficiently? Then you’ve come to the right place! To strengthen our team, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) to provide technical support for our cloud and data center infrastructure and to continuously improve it.

This Is Us

Since 1971, we at GRASS-MERKUR in Hanover have been designing digital infrastructure that others can rely on. In our highly secure data center, featuring approximately 3,500 m² of white space, we ensure day in and day out that businesses, government agencies, and critical infrastructure are secure, reliable, and future-proof—from colocation and managed services to private cloud and network solutions. Our cloud and managed services are also certified: to ISO/IEC 27001 for information security, supplemented by ISO/IEC 27017 for cloud security and ISO/IEC 27018 for the protection of personal data.

More than 80 colleagues contribute their expertise here and together serve over 100 clients, ranging from small and medium-sized businesses to DAX-listed corporations. What we’re especially proud of: We haven’t had a single outage in the last ten years—a testament to the care and passion with which our team works.

We’re also thinking about tomorrow. With approximately 95% green electricity, certified to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 and awarded the EcoZert 2025, we take responsibility—for our customers and for the environment. At the same time, we’re driving innovation forward: With power densities of up to 40 kW per rack, we’re specifically preparing our infrastructure for AI and high-performance computing.
Anyone who joins us becomes part of a team that embodies reliability and actively shapes the future.
