Jens Ahlbrand Discusses Germany's Digital Future
GRASS-MERKUR on the Panel at the EYP German Data Center Conference 2026
On July 9, 2026, Jens Ahlbrand, Managing Director of GRASS-MERKUR, was a guest panelist at the EYP German Data Center Conference 2026 in Eschborn. Under the title "No Growth Without Data Centers – Why Germany's Digital Future Is Being Decided Now", leading representatives of the data center industry discussed the future of digital infrastructure in Germany.
The central question was how powerful, secure and sustainable data centers – as the foundation for digitalization, AI applications and digital sovereignty – can keep Germany viable as a business location. The exchange with the other panelists provided valuable impetus for the further development of the industry.
